International Women's Day is on March 8th and is an opportunity to celebrate women's achievements and successes. International Women's Day serves as a reminder of the progress made in the fight for gender equality and the work that still needs to be done. It provides a platform for dialogue, collaboration, and action to create a more inclusive and equitable world for all. In that respect, we would like to acknowledge our fearless leader, Robin Kovitz, and thank her for inspiring us and encouraging us every day! As a certified Women Owned Business, we also believe in the importance of supporting other women-owned businesses and small owned businesses across Canada and around the world.

Based in Toronto, Mary Macleod's shortbread cookies have been a staple in our gift baskets. It all started back in 1981 when Mary Macleod opened her bakeshop and sold hundreds of batches of her famous shortbreads.
